We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Neurosurgery team.

 

Hours:  Full-time - 40 hours 8A – 4:30P


Shift: Day – weekend, holiday rotation – weekend 1:5

Location:  St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

  • Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager, or designee, perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain medical history in the hospital and office setting, perform pre and post-operative procedures, assist with diagnostic procedures including ICP monitoring.
  • As directed by individually assigned physician, perform hospital rounds including assessment of patient progress, medical management and oversight of the patient's plan of care.
  • Accompany attending Neurosurgeon during operative procedures to provide medical services as delineated by hospital privileges, and in accordance with state licensure, certification(s).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field required.
  • Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • One year experience required.
  • Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.

Pay Range

USD $63.00 - USD $78.00 /Hr.
