We are searching for a talented RN for the Wound Care Center

 

Hours: 32hrs  

Shift: Day shift, 7:45am - 4:15pm   

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Wound Care Center or designee, perform a variety of duties involving case management of assigned patients including but not limited to wound care and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care. Responsible for periodic evaluation of assigned patient plan of care and in collaboration with Physician establish an alternate plan as needed. Participate in patient and wound care data conferences and continuing education as determined by Program Director and Market Director. All clinicians working in the Wound Center must perform their job responsibilities in accordance to all Healogics policies and standard work, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, and federal and state regulations as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification (WOCN) or Wound Certification is also preferred.
  • A minimum of one-year related work experience in wound care required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Certifications in Wound Care preferred.
  • Completion of Healogics orientation program is required upon 6 months of hire.
  • This may require attendance of orientation program at Healogics corporate office in Jacksonville, FL and/or via online training modules to demonstrate competence.
  • Annual competency is managed by the annual Healogics process.
  • May require travel to/from other Hospital based Wound Care Centers to complete orientation and competency requirements.
  • Previous attendance at Healogics Nurse Course in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred or training must be completed within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $40.35 - USD $71.76 /Hr.
