We are searching for a talented Central Sterile Technician 

 

Hours: 40hrs 

Shift: Day shift, Rotating Day shift/Evening from 7:00am - 8:00pm with weekend, holiday and on call rotation

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Nurse Manager or Designee, perform a variety of duties including process, sterile and distribute instruments and other supplies in a clean condition. Responsible for ensuring that all items processed for sterilization have met the criteria before leaving the department. Perform other related duties as required including periodic off-site training.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of high school plus additional courses or training.
  • Requires successful completion of a Central Service training course with certification within two (2) years of employment.
  • Prior hospital experience is preferred.
  • Limited computer skills are required.
  • Must have Central Services Certification within two (2) years of employment.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $18.82 - USD $27.81 /Hr.
