This role involves creating strategies to enhance and improve system-wide supply chain policies, practices, and governance — including VAT procedures, supply P&L impact analysis, RFP processes, and recommendations for supply chain resiliency. These recommendations may include, but are not limited to, logistics improvements and sustainability initiatives. The goal is to support Southcoast Health’s strategic, financial, and long-range operational and financial objectives.

  • A minimum of ten years of supply chain leadership experience in healthcare or a similarly complex organization is required.

The role requires the ability to interact and communicate effectively at the C-suite and Board level. Candidates should have experience negotiating corporate-wide programs, analyzing quantitative data, and leading and influencing others.

Additional requirements include being an excellent listener and communicator, with a demonstrated track record of driving meaningful change through collaboration and cooperation.

This position involves regular interaction with senior management, department managers, and vendors in a professional, team-oriented manner to achieve shared goals and outcomes. The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple, sometimes conflicting, deadlines is essential.
