We are searching for a talented Laboratory Clerk

 

Hours: Per Diem  

Shift:   Flexible shifts & hours with weekend and holiday rotation; Weekends and some weekdays 1st and 2nd Shift. Hours can be flexible.

Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Laboratory or Designee, perform a variety of receptionist, office, clerical and other related duties both within and in support of the individually assigned hospital Laboratory. Perform data entry of all specimens and/or register patient information in the LIS database and/or department logs. Perform data entry of test associated charges, scheduled tests and test results to appropriate laboratory database as needed.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • A minimum of one year related work experience is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

     

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $15.78 - USD $22.22 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
