Under the direction of the Epic Manager, or designee, carry out various duties in support of clinical systems and end users including but not limited to: performing analysis of workflow; assessment of system needs and requirements; planning, designing, and testing of systems and interfaces; coordinating work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel; training end-users as required; documenting and troubleshooting work involved in systems implementation and maintenance; and acting as liaison to physicians and clinical area end users. On-call rotation required.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing or ancillary clinical discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience required. Experience supporting Meditech and/or other healthcare information systems required. Technical/programming experience preferred, but not required. PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required. Five (5) years MIS and/or clinical experience, including three (3) years in similar and related position required. Must obtain Epic certification.

CPHMIS or ANA Nursing Informatics Certification preferred. Must obtain Epic certification.
