We are searching for a talented Ultrasound Technologist 

 

Hours: Per Diem  

Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend, holiday and on call rotation    

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Team Leader or Designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties in Ultrasound within the Imaging Services Department. Provide health services using medical imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders. Perform ultrasound and related procedures to demonstrate anatomical structures for the interpretation by or at the request of a Physician. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal program of study accredited by the CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation).
  • Equal to completion of two to four years of college.
  • A Registered Technologist/Sonographer is required.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required.
  • Current RDMS, RVS, RT(S), or registry eligible is required.
  • Registration within one year is required.
  • CPR certification is also required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $38.50 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
