We are searching for a talented Team Lead-Central Sterile

 

Hours:  40hrs  

Shift:   Night shift with weekend, holiday, and on-call for weekends rotation; 9:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA; Coverage at other sites if necessary

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Central Processing or designee. Manage the daily flow of Central Sterile personnel, interview and recommend new hires, train and facilitate team development. Supervise assigned staff; including timely evaluations. Coordinate daily case cart and inventory control. Required to be available for on-call assignments. Establish and monitor departmental productivity and quality control in all aspects of inventory related processes. Manage Case Cart verification and accuracy of next day�s preference cards. Monitor preference card usage and verify accuracy of charges. Responsible for new product evaluation /selection, cost savings/analysis and product standardization. Develop inventory control tools and determine inventory systems efficiency. Occasional travel to other sites required.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of two years of college.
  • An Associates Degree in a related field or the equivalent knowledge or experience is required.
  • Medical Terminology and proficient computer skills including medical based programs are required.
  • Critical decision making skills are required.
  • Certified Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) and/or Certified Surgical Technologist required.
  • Certified Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) is the preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience is required.
  • Travel to other system sites is required using own personal transportation.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

     

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $23.15 - USD $38.93 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

On Call for weekends- Coverage at other sites if necessary
