We are searching for a talented Clinical Pharmacist 

 

Hours: 40hrs  

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm    

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA; This position will be assigned in St Luke's Emergency Department predominately

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services or Designee, perform a variety of professional services, consultations and responsibilities related to the clinical review of patient drug therapy, knowledgeable of computer applications, pertinent state and federal law/regulations and provide immediate direction and supervision of assigned personnel. The clinical pharmacist will have responsibilities in critical care, trauma, emergency room, and/or medical floors depending upon assignment.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
  • Must be a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
  • Completion of PGY-1 residency program preferred as well as 3 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience.
  • This experience includes pain management, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, antimicrobial stewardship, critical care and/or emergency medicine.
  • BCPS accreditation in pharmacotherapy and/or specialty preferred as well as active BLS certification, active ACLS certification, and active PALS certification
  • Experience in emergency medicine/critical care preferred. 
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $57.96 - USD $72.73 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement
