Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Under direction of Administrative Director of Laboratory Services with clinical oversight by hospital site Medical Director, responsible for the daily management of assigned hospital site(s).Oversees daily work processes resulting in laboratory testing and outcomes, compliance with various Southcoast Hospitals Group and outside regulatory agency policies, procedures and requirements, in cooperation with the Laboratory Manager of Technical Development, QI & Regulatory Affairs, and development and participation in various Continuing Quality Improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, with training in Laboratory Management or equivalent education and experience; a Masters degree is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience, including leadership, in Clinical Laboratory Science is required.
  • Experience with quality assurance and survey (i.e. CAP, Joint Commission) programs and related activities preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, including relationship building and conflict resolution.
  • MT(ASCP) or CLS (NCA)
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $86,632.00 - USD $144,518.40 /Yr.
