We are searching for a talented Counselor-EAP

 

Hours:  24hrs

Shift:   Day/Evening shift; 11:00am - 7:00pm

Location:  Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, EAP or designee, perform diversified duties both within and in support of Employee Assistance Program including but not limited to providing assessments and short-term counseling and referrals to employees and their family members. Develop and provide training to employees on various relevant topics. Provide EAP training for and work with leadership to provide clinical interventions to employees where potential problems/issues have been identified. Assist in marketing Southcoast Hospitals Group EAP and other related services to prospective client organizations.

Qualifications

  • A Masters Degree in Social Work is required. Duties require knowledge of Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Counseling expertise is required.
  • Level I licensure at the LICSW level is required.
  • Public speaking skills are essential.
  • A minimum of five (5) years related work experience required of which three years have been in an Employee Assistance Program.
  • A minimum of LICSW license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and certification as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional are required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $27.40 - USD $46.06 /Hr.
