We are searching for a talented RN-Staff Nurse

 

Hours: Per Diem

Shift:   Flexible shifts & hours with weekend and holiday rotation; days, evening, overnights, 1 major winter holiday, 1 major summer holiday, 4 - 5 shifts a month with 2 being weekend shift

Location: Remote position - Must live in MA or RI

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One to three years of related experience preferred.
  • Previous Medical Office experience is desirable.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty.
  • This position requires to have both MA and RI license. 
  • You need to continue with CPR certification. 
  • You need your own laptop. 
  • A phone will be provided to you. 
  • You are required to have acceptable speed internet in order to maintain connection with Southcoast applications.
  • If times of power outages at home, you need to have back up power (i.e. generator) or back up power or would be required to travel to closest hospital or the business center for work.  
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $27.92 - USD $47.53 /Hr.
