We are searching for a talented Registered Dietitian-Inpatient

 

*$4,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)* 

 

Hours: 24 flex 32hrs

Shift:  Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location:  St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Team Leader Inpatient Nutrition or designee. Perform diversified duties as a member of the interdisciplinary team involving directing nutritional care for patients on various assigned nursing units. Screen patients for nutritional risks, assess patient nutritional status, providing teaching to patients and families, etc.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience is required.
  • Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetic.
  • Must obtain order writing privileges within 6 months of hire One (1) year of experience is preferred.
  • Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetic or eligibility for the examination is required.
  • Dietitian License from the Division of Professional Licensure is Required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $25.72 - USD $43.24 /Hr.
