We are searching for an EXPERIENCED STAT RN. A minimum of three (3) years of critical care/emergency nursing is required.

 

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

 

Hours: 28hrs

 

Shift: NIGHT, (2)11:00pm - 7:00am weeknights and (1) 7:00pm - 7:00am weekend shift with holiday rotation.   

 

Looking for:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of critical care/emergency nursing is required.
  • Position responsibilities require flexibility and critical thinking skills.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.

 

SK3 is a 21 bed surgical unit specializing in the care of post-operative patients. The patient population includes patients undergoing Bariatric surgery, Orthopedic surgery, General surgery, Gyn surgery, and Plastic surgery. SK3 prides itself in providing excellent patient care using a multidisciplinary approach. We also provide Telemetry monitoring.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

 

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care or Designee, perform diversified duties related to critical care emergency nursing to all areas of the hospital. Serve as a member of the Rapid Response and Code 99 Resuscitation Teams. Provide support to Critical Care, PACU and the Emergency departments during high census and/or high acuity of patients. Provide nursing assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care for patients in accordance to SHG policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of ANA clinical nursing practice.

Qualifications

  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $41.83 - USD $74.21 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

every other weekend and every other holiday
