We are searching for a talented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

 

Hours: Per Diem

Shift:  Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: VNA Rehab - Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Clinical Manager and the Occupational Therapist, work toward the achievement of the following patient goals: prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patient�s capabilities. Meet all documentation requirements in a complete and timely manner.

Qualifications

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is required to have an associate degree from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Two years experience required. Home care experience preferred. Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs.

Must be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Pay Range

USD $29.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
