Hours: 32 flex 40hrs

Shift:  Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm; Must be willing to rotate to other locations

Location: Radiology Administration – Dartmouth, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Imaging Services or designee, this position will be an integral member of the mammography department including the Breast Center in addition to Thoracic Surgery and Pulmonary services. Work effectively with leadership and various departments to provide seamless care along the breast health continuum and the lung cancer continuum. Assist in patient care coordination and the provision of a seamless system of care between mammography, other breast related services as well as between CT and the Lung Cancer Screening Program. Assist in providing data for MQSA & ACR tracking. Perform all screening-tracking functions including reading reports with abnormal results, generating, tracking, and mailing patient result letters, including all 3 and 6-month follow-ups, making patient appointments, enter pathology information into EPIC for statistical reports and other related functions. Coordinate the scheduling of biopsies with the Breast Center and coordinate and schedule patients into the Lung Nodule Clinic. Prepare tumor board lists for radiologists, surgeons, pathologists and oncologists. Upload images into Epic/PACS and provide reception support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree plus additional specialized training (film library) or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years related work experience in a healthcare setting is required.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Windows, Internet and other PC skills are required.
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • MIS/HIS related courses and experience preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

 

Pay Range

USD $17.32 - USD $29.12 /Hr.
