We are searching for a talented MRI Technologist
*$6,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (Must be registered in MRI at time of hire. Rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 32hrs
Shift: Evening Shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm with 7:30am - 4:00pm on weekends. Some day shifts as needed; Every 6th weekend rotation. 1-2 Minor Holidays on rotation, 1 Major Holidays on call on rotation.
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others and aware of the principles of ALARA. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
