Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Philanthropy & Development or designee, the Advancement Officer - Data & Systems (AO - D&S) will provide leadership and oversight of the prospect and donor data management process to support the strategic goals of Southcoast Health philanthropy. The AO - D&S will implement strategies, including required technology and support mechanisms, that deliver excellence in: gift management; prospect and donor research and segmentation; portfolio performance management; fundraiser and department performance analysis and financial reporting. Maintain data integrity. The AO - D&S will strategically collaborate with key internal stakeholders to effectively meet department goals and objectives and will be an ambassador for the Mission and impact of Southcoast Health in the community. In addition, the AO - D&S will partner with the Philanthropy & Development Team to advance department and organizational priorities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or master's degree preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience with all facets of donor (or sales) and prospect data management processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of philanthropy principles and fundraising programs preferred.
  • Administrative oversight experience with Raisers Edge is required.
  • Research Point experience preferred. Track record of delivering performance analysis for fundraising (or sales) teams and providing CRM subject matter expertise within a fundraising (or sales) operation.
  • Strong organizational, coaching, and presentation skills are all required.
  • Three (3) years' experience in fundraising or sales enablement preferred; experience in healthcare/medical field preferred, as is health care knowledge.
  • Writing sample required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $75,150.40 - USD $126,380.80 /Yr.
