We are searching for a talented Reg Dietitian-Advanced Practice Outpatient-Oncology

 

*$4,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

 

Hours: 32hrs

Shift:  Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Fall River Cancer Center – Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Position Reports the Director of Medical Oncology or designee. Responsible for supporting the nutritional needs and well-being of oncology patients undergoing outpatient treatment. This position will provide expertise in nutrition that will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes by creating personalized dietary plans and counseling that complement their medical treatments.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with an accredited program of supervised experience is required.
  • Registration by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and a valid Dietitian license from the Division of Professional Licensure is required.
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience is required.
  • Advanced and active certification such as a CNSC, CSO, CEDRED or CDE is required.
  • Prior experience in oncology nutrition preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient clinical settings or healthcare facilities highly desirable
  • Maintaining licensure and certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Advanced and active certification such as CNSC, CSO, CEDRED or CDE is required.
  • Continuing education in oncology nutrition is advantageous.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $27.13 - USD $45.60 /Hr.
