Responsibilities

The Equipment Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of medical and non-medical equipment for all new construction and renovations at Southcoast Health. The position will report to the Director of Real Estate Design and Construction. The Equipment Planner will be involved in the planning, sourcing, procurement, documentation, and installation of medical and non-medical equipment. You will collaborate with various departments, vendors, and healthcare professionals to ensure all purchases are compliant with hospital standards.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a business or a related field, or the equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Minimum one to three years of related ERP (PeopleSoft) software experience and GHX is preferred.
  • Supplier contract negotiation skills are a plus.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment types, specifications, and industry standards preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $59,800.00 - USD $102,440.00 /Yr.
