Responsibilities

Position reports to the Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services and the Chair of Psychiatry. Perform a wide variety of duties in Southcoast Physician Practices providing behavioral health services to Southcoast Health PCP patients across the system. Duties include conducting behavioral health assessments and providing behavioral health treatment including individual and family psychotherapy utilizing brief treatment modalities. Serves as a consultant and resource to practice staff in the management and treatment of behavioral health disorders.

Qualifications

  • A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) also encouraged to apply. 
  • Current Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $60,403.00 - USD $103,459.00 /Yr.
