We are searching for a talented Coder II

 

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fall River, MA/Hybrid

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Team Leader of Coding Services, perform a variety of coding, code auditing and education to ensure adherence to federal, state and payor requirements and to optimize reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Coding Certificate or Degree through a CAHIIM accredited program, or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years related work experience with ICD-10 and CPT-4 is required.
  • Physician and midlevel patient coding and advanced E/M experience required.
  • In depth knowledge of local medical review polices and national coverage determinations preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years related work experience with ICD-10 and CPT-4 is required.
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Apprentice (CCA) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $24.48 - USD $40.78 /Hr.
