We are searching for a talented Energy Manager

 

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Travel: May require driving on average of 3 or more times per week

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Facility Health Services, design & lead Southcoasts energy procurement/production/infrastructure related sustainability efforts across health system. Analyze current & historical energy usage & develop a strategic system-wide energy management plan. Collaborate with FHS colleagues to ensure all buildings & systems are running optimally. Develop & communicate energy conservation & infrastructure related sustainability best practices within FHS & system-wide, supporting all colleagues in participating in energy conservation efforts. Work closely with Executive Director of FHS on energy strategies for Electricity/Natural Gas procurement, on-site power generation, solar, wind, geothermal, & energy related infrastructure projects including transitioning FHS vehicle fleet to EVs with accompanying EVC infrastructure for company vehicles, patients, & workforce. Collaborate with DCPM team on construction & renovation projects to support sustainability best practices including LEED certification & Park Smart. Collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics & Sustainability colleagues to source products for FHS that are produced sustainably; collaborate to help define & achieve Southcoasts sustainability goals in alignment with our HHS Pledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management or the equivalent education and experience is required.
  • Certified Energy Manager Credential is required.
  • Five (5) years related work experience is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Energy Manager Credential is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

Pay Range

USD $24.72 - USD $150,925.00 /Yr.
