We are searching for a talented Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist

 

Hours: 30hrs

Shift: Day, Evening, Weekend shifts

Location: This position supports outreach services at a local college across the Southcoast region as well as our Clinics in Dartmouth and Fall River.

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Employee Health and Ergonomics, perform a wide variety of duties both within and in support of the Employee & Occupational Health Departments. Provide Athletic Training outreach services at contracted high school. Provide support in Occupational Health Clinic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training or a related field is required.
  • The position requires the ability to utilize appropriate equipment including lap top computers and digital cameras as well as experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • New graduates to 3 years of related work experience is required.
  • BOC certification required.
  • Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

 

Pay Range

USD $22.50 - USD $38.26 /Hr.
